it's official!  i can't believe i'm really doing this but the tickets have been bought so there is no going back now!

april 1st:  los angeles to brisbane
april 24th:  brisbane to cairns
may 4th:  cairns to alice springs
may 7th:  alice springs to darwin
may 14th:  darwin back to brisbane

woo hoo.

i feel like this weekend may have put a lot of my life back into perspective for me.
or maybe it didn't and this feeling will just wear off.  either way i'm going to redo my 101 in 1001 again and hopefully stick to it.

and i think i'm going to start volunteering for the dog shelter on the weekends. it's an hour bus ride there (or a 7 minute car ride) but i think it will be good for me and keep me busy.  and all of the sudden i miss my dogs and my horses and the country so so so much.  being around so many people (especially so many people feeling the same way as me) is starting to make me feel like somebody else.
